Direct Line find 1 in 10 Brits have been robbed

A survey by Direct Line in September 2005 found that one in ten British holidaymakers have been robbed whilst abroad. The most common location being in Spain, which has the highest number of holiday thefts overall.
The cost of theft among holidaymakers was significant, one in ten people lost £500 through theft.
